Our Year In Review 2021

2021 has been an eventful year for the Irwin team. Across the board we’ve seen substantial growth in terms of our platform, our team, and our business as a whole. 

To celebrate the New Year, we wanted to share some stats and figures from this year that our team is most proud of. 

Irwin Mail and IRM

Having everything you need in your IR CRM saves you time and makes it easier to record interactions. In 2021 Irwin users collectively logged 41,285 activities representing phone calls, meetings, and more in our investor relationship management platform. Plus Irwin users collectively sent over 139,171 emails in 2021.

Investor Targeting Platform

This year, we went all in on our differentiated data. In addition to the 100,000+ investors added to our client’s IRM accounts by Irwin Assistant our research team manually added 17,246 unique investors representing over 4,300 institutions to Irwin’s investor database in 2021. That’s over 164,000 investors added altogether!

The Irwin Team

None of this would be possible without the help of every single person on the Irwin team. This year we brought on 44 new hires across all departments, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Research; and we're continuing to hire in 2022! This has more than doubled our team’s headcount and allows us to continue scaling our product to deliver more of what you need. 

This year we also raised US $20 million in Series A funding led by K1 Investment Management, a leading investment firm focusing on high-growth enterprise software companies. This funding allows us to continue to grow and iterate on our software solutions for investor relations.

With 2021 almost behind us, we’re looking forward to serving the capital markets community even more in the New Year.
